Alan Goldstein
President
Alan Goldstein is President and Director of the Ripa Ladrang Foundation and has held this post since 2001. He is a retired Senior Executive with over 30 years of management experience in banking and technology organizations. Alan developed the strategic governance for Ripa Ladrang and plays a key role in shaping its strategic growth and future. He currently serves on the board of directors of several businesses and non-profit organizations.
Suma Chander
Director of Fundraising and Sustainability
Suma was born in India. She earned her Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Chicago and pursued a career in technology and finance at JP Morgan, as well as preeminent hedge fund management firms such as Silver Point Capital and Traxis Partners. She is currently pursuing another passion of hers related to fashion design and has started a business that caters to the high-end women’s ready-to-wear market.
Joshua Green
Treasurer
Joshua Green is the CFO of a multigenerational family office focusing on real estate development and management. Additionally, his responsibility supports extended family members finances, estate planning and trusts. He is also on the board of California Water Impact Network, an environmental advocacy group for better water policy management within the state.
Myriah McGorril
Myriah McGorrill is a retired Information Technology Program Manager delivering global solutions for clients in the Financial Services sector. This includes a focus on Distributed Application Infrastructure, Database Administration with emphasis on IT Risk and Audit Remediation programs.
In support of the Ripa Ladrang Foundation, she lends her program management skills to assist her in the delivery of many foundation projects. She holds a unique responsibility with emphasis on the translation and restoration of ancient Tibetan texts from the Ripa Lineage.
Jim Miller
Director of Communications
Jim is currently Chairman of DigiPowers, Inc., a digital strategy, software and marketing services company located in San Francisco. He was previously President and C-Suite executive for several luxury retail brands including Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey, Ulta Cosmetics, Saks Fifth Avenue and Polo Ralph Lauren. He is from Iowa with education experience from the University of Iowa, a BBA in Marketing; George Washington University, MA in Human Resources Management; and Drake University receiving his MBA degree.
Radhika Nayar
Director of Monk Sponsorship
Radhika is a Director at Arabella Advisors, a philanthropy advisory firm. She works closely with individuals and families to help them achieve their philanthropic goals within the United States and internationally. Prior to Arabella, Radhika worked at Dasra, a leading Indian nonprofit organization focused on making philanthropy in India more effective. She supported donors to create greater impact with their resources and direct their giving to uplift girls – keeping girls in school and increasing their age at marriage – to break the inter-generational cycle of poverty. Radhika has a BA from Wellesley College where she graduated with honors. She lives in New York and loves visiting India annually.
Susie Miller Reid
Secretary
Susie is currently the Senior International Officer and Director of International Programs at Saint Mary’s College of California. She previously held director posts at the University of California campuses in Santa Cruz and Davis. From 1983-1988, Susie lived in Kuwait and taught at Kuwait University in the School of Allied Health. She has traveled globally for over 45 years and started her traveling at the age of 16 as an exchange student in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio University, Athens in Russian Language, Literature and Linguistics. Susie has been a student of His Eminence Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche since 2007.
