| Dear Friends of the Ripa International Sangha,
Happy Losar Tashi Delek – may the Tibetan New Year 2150 of the Water Rabbit bring peace, harmony and prosperity to All! As you know, this year brings change to our Center with Begoña stepping back from the head of RIC after seven years and Antje being appointed the new director.
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the Dear Teachers of the Ripa Lineage, and particularly to Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche our spiritual leader of the Center, for their trust and support. It is my greatest honor and joy to serve the Ripa Lineage and Sangha, in doing my best to implement the vision of our Teachers and the Dharma in the West under the precious guidance of Lama Tenzin and with support from the RIC Dream Team!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Begoña for the tremendous work that she has done with the team over the past seven years and the achievements which would not have been possible without her personal commitment, energy and her strong determination. She deserves special gratitude for having created this indispensable base of stability and structure which allows the Center to look into the future with confidence and trust for new developments and ideas.
Good News
Here, we present the programs that the RIC Team and residents from the Sangha prepared for the first half of 2023. To begin, we have some very good news!
- Both Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche and Lhuntrul Dechen Rinpoche will come to the Center this Spring, we invited His Eminence to the Summer Retreat and of course, we have the strongest aspiration to welcome him again this year.
- The regular weekly Shine meditation will be back in our Center this spring thanks to the initiative and dedication of Gabriela and Christian.
- For the first time, we will propose a program especially designed for kids during the summer retreat. Olga and Jenya are preparing a wonderful full day program based upon the vision of Jigme Rinpoche, all the details will come soon.
